I am truly disappointed with students. They wait from 1 am to 10 to get Jason Mraz tickets, but there’s no one but me waiting at 6 am for Bloc Party tickets!?
This is ridiculous.
Why isn’t there a bigger hype for this show?!
Can someone explain this?
Is it just me or has there been a degradation in musical taste? Has the likes of “hip hop” such as Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em and pop phenoms like the Jonas Brothers taken over the majority of students? There needs to be some sort of musical revolution where we can re-educate the populace on what’s good music and what’s bad music.
But who am I to say what is good music.
Damn, I just contradicted myself.
I need sleep
I believe music is a combination of objective and subjective quality, honestly. When something is cliche, completely unoriginal, elementary, sloppy, or made in a way to conceal musical mistakes, etc. you can argue how good it is but it definitely hits the cieling pretty early, as far as quality goes. The difference between this kind of music and the devotion heard in REAL music is obvious when you become an experienced listener. So I’m right with you man. Let’s start a revolution.
Oh, and at least you got your tickets no problem, right?
